How will the history books treat Sweden during these times?
Will we be judged as living behind the times, during the times, or ahead of the times? I want my children to grow up in the most forward thinking society possible. By doing so, we give our children the gift of being able to live, in a relative future. Don’t we all want that for all children?
When history looks back on Sweden at this space and time I want it to talk about a renaissance period. A period of ideas, of open mindedness, of positive change. I want there to be stories, stories, that are told the world over of good people here coming together, and winning over indifference and intolerance. Who would not want to be remembered that way?
That is why we started Sweden United…and we want to share our vision with you.
To work in partnership with society, with the aim of helping each immigrant to reach their full potential
For Sweden United to assist immigrants in reaching their full potential, we must first work to bring immigrants together, to support one another. We must show collectively that we are here to help Sweden prosper. On the other hand, we cannot do it alone and must work with the greater society to carry out our vision.
That is why we chose this motto for Sweden United.
Bringing together immigrants and natives for the benefit of both.
We advocate natives and immigrants working together to find win/win solutions. Particularly win/win solutions within the private sector; that is our primary goal. We believe private sector jobs, export oriented jobs, are critical to Sweden. We believe it is those very export jobs that support the welfare state and ensure a high quality of life for everyone living here.
Our philosophy is there are people from nearly 200 nations living in Sweden. Shouldn’t we harness the knowledge of those 200 nations; thereby. delivering Swedish goods, services, and solutions to the doorsteps of those 200 nations?
I hope your answer is a resounding yes.
Thank You,
Shane Murray
